Summary
Join Shelly Higgins, RDSPD Program Specialist, as she helps us understand the Present Levels in a student's IEP.
The Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance statement (PLAAFP, or “present levels”) is a key part of your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). The PLAAFP for your child describes skills and abilities based on collected data to identify the kinds and amount of special education services your child may need. In this session, parents will understand the relationship between the Full Individual Plan (FIE), PLAAFP, and Goals/Objectives/Benchmarks.
This is part of our Educational Series, Understanding the IEP, provided by Dr. Dana Walker.
